Sales Leader for the Store Kitchen

ICA Kvantum in Skövde is a family-owned business with about 70 employees.

We continuously strive to be Skövde's best grocery store for those who want to live a little better.

We are in a development phase where we want to create and develop our store into Skaraborg's most modern grocery store with a focus on food and meal solutions.

As a kitchen sales leader with us, you will be involved in leading and coaching 5 responsible individuals within the store kitchen and the restaurant Urban Bistro regarding finance, operations, purchasing, product development, and inspiration.

Job Responsibilities:

- You are part of the kitchen production team of 8 chefs where the production consists of cooking for portion dishes, pies, soups, appetizers, desserts, side dishes, salads, sandwich cakes, sandwiches, grilled items, party trays, buffets, and also support manual sales where we currently sell fish and delicacies. Cooking for the hot lunch buffet and other dishes for Urban Bistro is also included.

- You have overall responsibility for the kitchen, which includes hot kitchen, cold storage, catering, manual fish & delicacies, and Urban Bistro.

- You are responsible for ensuring that daily operations function optimally within your areas of responsibility and plan production together with the responsible individuals and your closest sales manager.

- You have overall responsibility for the finances within your areas where you should be able to plan, set, and anchor routines, sales plan according to set budget goals for the areas, and maintain sales pressure.

- You are responsible for ensuring that calculations, recipes, and ingredient lists for all food we prepare are correct.

- You have primary responsibility for purchasing raw materials with the correct pricing in collaboration with area managers.

- You are responsible for ensuring that self-control and routines are followed in production within your areas.

- Drive the development of the assortment and inspire customers with news and seasonal offerings from the store kitchen.

An important part of the job is to work with the right communication and price experiences for customers and to create a unified structure for the department.

The position includes working towards set budget goals regarding sales and actively working to minimize waste in the department.

The position includes administrative tasks as described in the above text, approximately 70% in kitchen production and 30% administrative.

We are looking for someone who:

· has a burning interest in food and beverages.

· wants to help create and develop ICA Kvantum's store kitchen and Urban Bistro.

· has good analytical skills, a sense of order, and the ability to structure work to ensure both production and the administrative part.

· has very good financial knowledge.

· has excellent leadership skills.

· has good computer skills.

· has good physical condition as heavy lifting occurs daily.

You are a person with initiative and have strong positive energy. You should be a role model. It is important to see the customer's needs and joyfully provide the best customer service. You should be able to handle stressful situations and have the ability to see the big picture in your work regarding both production and administration.

You should be outgoing and enjoy leading a group but also be able to work independently. You should be structured and have a good sense of order, enjoy development, and be engaged, focusing on sales, operations, and creating good profitability.

Qualifications:

· Extensive experience in a leadership position in the grocery or restaurant industry.

· Very good knowledge of store economics/business economics.

· Be structured and have a good quality awareness.

As a sales leader, you report to the sales manager for the department.

The position is a full-time position. We apply permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months.

Start date for the position is immediate or by agreement.

Salary according to agreement.
